If you are over 50 and retired or semi-retired you are eligible to join U3A Redcliffe.
How to become a member
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, U3A Redcliffe is limited to the number of people it can have on campus and in the classroom.
However, the Management Committee has decided to open membership provided new applicants have spoken to the tutor(s) of class(es) they wish to join, and confirmed that they have a place in the class(es).
If you would like to join U3A Redcliffe and enjoy all the benefits of being a member offers, please follow the steps below.
Step 1 – Our terms and conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions so you understand your eligibility and obligations.
- I am eligible to be a member of U3A Redcliffe and agree to abide by the Association’s Constitution and Rules. Click here to read and/or download the Constitution. Hard copies are also available from the Office.
- I am aware there will be a fee for each class I enrol in and that Membership Fees are not refundable.
- I understand that photographs taken at U3A Redcliffe activities may be published in our newsletter, on our website or on Facebook. I will advise the office in writing if I do not want any photos of me published.
- I am aware that U3A Redcliffe uses email services provided by Member Wizard. As this will not result in receiving emails from external advertisers, I give my permission for U3A Redcliffe to include my email address for use with Member Wizard, which is used to email newsletters and other relevantg information to members.
By paying your membership you agree to abide with the above conditions
Step 2 – Check with your tutor
If you are joining because you have a class in mind that you would like to attend, you must contact the tutor first to ensure there are places available in that class. We are operating under COVID restrictions which means number of students for each class is reduced. You can find the tutor’s contact details in the class information page.

At the moment new enrolments are only being taken on campus as it is essential that everyone wanting to attend any class must contact the relevant tutor to ensure there is a place available.
There may still be a slight delay in receiving your badge depending on the workload in the office.
Step 3 – Pay Membership Fees
- $20.00 per person for a full year
- $15.00 per person when joining for term 3
- $10.00 per person when joining for term 4 only
- Reciprocal Membership :
If you are a paid-up member of another U3A group (anywhere) you are entitled to join as a Reciprocal Member. The cost is $10.00. When joining U3A Redcliffe you will need to show your membership card or receipt from the other U3A group.
Unfortunately at the moment we are unable to process on-line applications for membership and payment.
