Membership fees
Membership fees fall due in January and are renewable each year.
To retain continuity of membership the fees must be paid prior to AGM.
At time of joining each new member receives a copy of our Members Handbook.
Cost
- $20.00 per year.
- If joining in term 3: $15.00.
- If joining in term 4: $10.00.
- Reciprocal membership: $10.00
This is available to members of another U3A; a current receipt or badge must be provided at time of paying U3A Redcliffe fees.
Class fees
In addition to the membership fee, there is a class fee for each class.
Class fees for special classes, such as one-off computer classes on special subjects, will vary. These will be advertised in the Campus Communique, on the U3A Redcliffe Facebook page and by notices around campus..
On-campus class fees
Except for computer classes, the fee for classes held on campus are $2.00 each class. This can be paid by voucher or in cash. Vouchers are available from the office; a bundle of five vouchers costs $10.00.
Computer classes
Computer classes are $30.00 for an eight week course or $20.00 for a five week course.
Off campus class fees
Off-campus class fees vary to cover the additional cost of expenses such as venue hire.
- Dance Class $4.00 per lesson
- Chi Gong $4.00 per lesson
- Aqua Aerobics $5.00 per lesson
- Gateball $7.00 ($5.00 Gateball Club $2.00 U3A)
- Croquet $7.00 ($5.00 Croquet Club $2.00 U3A)
Procedures
Presently fees can only be paid on campus, by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. We accept Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS card. However, we do not accept American Express or Diners Club.
If paying by cheque through the mail, please make payable to U3A Redcliffe Inc. and quote your membership number (displayed on your membership badge). The mailing address is:

To apply for membership, please download and fill in this form and bring it to the office with your payment.
After completion of membership application and payment of fees, the application is submitted to the Committee for their acceptance at the first meeting after the form has been completed.
